Crossing Lines comes to Folkestone
One of Europe’s most spectacular outdoor theatre companies joins forces with more than 30 young people from nine European countries, to present a performance of giant proportions in Radnor Park!
Crossing Lines visits Folkestone on Saturday 9 June at 9pm. This absolutely huge performance will take place on the site of Folkestone’s largest outdoor space, Radnor Park. This event is free and open to all, so don’t be the one who missed out on the biggest event of the summer!
Created by the internationally renowned PAN.OPTIKUM and brought to Folkestone by the Creative Foundation, Crossing Lines combines dance, rap, performance, video projection and a huge set. The performance unfolds all around the audience, following the survivors of a global catastrophe as they come together, form new tribes and micro-societies, and look to a brand-new future.
As well as a gigantic, two-sided mainstage, small moving stages make up an important part of the show; providing each member of the audience with a unique experience, depending on where they stand. With special effects, amazing performers and a huge immersive set, Crossing Lines is guaranteed to be the highlight of your summer!
This free outdoor spectacular is expected to draw a big audience, as such travelling on foot or by public transport is highly advised. There will be no on-street or on-site parking, apart from parking for disabled badge holders.
