New offices for The Computer Lady lead to enhanced services
Established in January 2014, The Computer Lady, has gone from strength to strength, and is celebrating her growth by moving to new premises. The offices at Church Approach, New Romney, will not only mean there is more space to store equipment she’s working on, but will also provide training, hot-desking and meeting facilities.
The Computer Lady provides IT support and training to businesses and residential customers across Romney Marsh, Hythe, Ashford, Winchelsea and Folkestone. The new premises have allowed her to enhance her IT training services with classes for larger groups.
IT training can be provided as bespoke packages, but standard tuition and training courses include:
Learning how to use email properly – attaching files, signatures, out of office;
Training on particular programs like Libra Office, Open Office and Microsoft Office
Developing databases and how to use them;
Setting up hardware (such as printers, scanners, laptops, PCs) and learning how to use them
Our IT support service covers all aspects of support and maintenance and can be set up as either one-off, or on a monthly service contract. We provide remote support, as well as office or home visits. A few examples of our residential or business services include:
Tablet and PC set-up and repairs – even if they appear lifeless;
Health Checks – Is your machine running slow? Are you receiving virus alerts, or lots of advert pop-ups when browsing the internet?
Installing new, or upgrading, software;
Setting up wireless networks;
Transfer of data from one device/PC to another;
And much more.
